Excellent experience. The entire staff was super friendly, courteous, and responsive to our needs. Traveling can be tough these days but Peter and his crew really saved our trip. Definitely would recommend.

Right from walking into hotel until the time we left staff was professional and helpful. We were fairly and our room wasn’t quite ready so they escorted us to the lounge and coffee area. Very clean and nice hotel. Would recommend stay here again.

As I was driving towards Utica (about 15 minutes away) I called the hotel to see if my room might be ready. Spoke with a gentleman who said his s name was Peter. It was about 1pm so before check in time but he checked to see if my room was ready. I appreciate someone who checks vs the standard answer“ our check in time is” …. Now even if my room wasn’t ready I would be impressed by interaction. He told me my room was ready and I could check in at anytime. I replied that I would be there in about 15 minutes. On arriving everything was ready for me only showed my ID and was sent off to my room. Efficient, friendly and provided outstanding customer service this hotel gets Top Marks from me.

We felt welcomed the moment we walked through the doors thanks to Peter who checked us in very efficiently! He was so kind & courteous & had a great sense of humor. Our room was very clean as was the laundry area. Enjoyed the pancakes in the morning & watching the cool machine that made them. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

We travel to Utica at least one a year to see family. We have stayed in many local hotels in Utica and along the east coast. This year we stayed here for Thanksgiving. This stay has by far been one of the best hotel experiences we have had in a long time. Very friendly and generous staff who have been more than willing to help with whatever we have needed from forgotten toiletries to batteries for kids toys. All shifts of the front desk staff were amazing and housekeeping was so helpful and ready with offers of fresh towels and trash emptying even when we declined room cleaning. We haven’t stayed in a Holiday Inn for a long time because we are rewards members of another hotel chain, but this will definitely not be the last time. The level of customer service was very appreciated! Also appreciate the large clean rooms and reasonable room prices.

We had a fantastic stay overnight the day we took a trip on the Adirondack Railway. Peter was very friendly upon check-in, I returned to the front desk a few times for assistance and our expectations were exceeded and felt like home. The housekeepers and kitchen staff for breakfast... really everyone we encountered very friendly.... and they are installing car chargers a real plus! Decorated so well for the holidays given our trip on the "Polar Express"

I called the front desk as I would be very late to check in thus adding stress to my already hectic workday. I wish I would’ve gotten the woman’s name who assisted to me as she was excellent, friendly, human and intelligent. She asked if she’d like her to do advance check-in for me so I could go right to my room and rest. Upon arrival she was still at the desk and had recollection of our conversation and already had keys in hand. The sum total of my check-in couldn’t have lasted 2 minutes. Not only was she efficient but also displayed sincere hospitality, an art sadly lacking in the “hospitality industry”. Room was basic but clean. Really, who cares though when you’re greeted that warmly.
